As you can see on the picture the drama is about wine.
Summary:
This is the story of Kanzaki Shizuku, the son of a world-famous wine critic: Kanzaki Yutaka, who recently died. And as a wine critic, his father had a huge amount of different and rare wine in his wine cellar, and left it as an inheritance (worth more or less ¥ 2,000,000,000). So, at first, Shizuku said he's not interested in having that inheritance and want it to be given to charity, but the thing is that the last will of his father is clear: the only one who'll have the right to inherit the cellar will be the one who'll be able to identify 6 wines (name and year) and finally identify the wine called by Kanzaki Yutaka: Kami no Shizuku.
But of course, that won't be as easy as it may appear. Why? Well, first: before his death, Shizuku's father adopted a prominent wine critic called Tomine Issei, so they'll be two to compete. And two: Shizuku hates wine and doesn't know very much about it. But he'll do it...
My opinion:
I liked the idea about a drama talking about wine but I was afraid that they didn't make any research about wine and stuff. But to my greatest surprise they did and I learned stuff. And since I like wine very much, I like it even more. Still there's one thing I have to say: the 2 first episodes are slow and it's hard to get into it but after, really, it's a pleasure. So if you wanna watch it try at least to look at the 3 first episodes, it really worth the watch, especially if you like wine.
