Karigurashi no Arrietty

Today after my last exam (yeah, finally over!!!!!!!!!!), I decided to go to see a movie, and I told myself, I'm definitely going to see the latest ghibli movie which is Karigurashi no Arrietty (in English, I think, it was translated as Arrietty, the borrower). The story is setted in 2010 in Koganei, western Tokyo. A group of little creatures, the borrowers, are living under the floor of  a house unoticed. A friendship is created between Arrietty, a borrower  who is 14 years old and a young human called Shou, who is currently living in the house because of a heart disease, and has to get some rest.

And as usual, it's superb. And the music was, well I don't have words to describe it, it was so... I don't know. Anyway, after the movie I went on the internet to see who composed the music, and to my greatest suprise, the music was composed by a French harpist called Cécile Corbel. And my god, I listened to some other songs of hers and I was there like.... whoaa it's beautiful.
She sings the theme song of the movie, in Japanese. And it's really beautiful. I think you sould see it for yourself.

As I said above I've looked for other songs she sings and I've to say that the one called Mary is also beautiful.

Y para mis amigos hispanohablantes encontré una en español, también muy muy guapa que se llama En la mar.

Well that was a long post. Anyway, have a nice day, where ever you are.

  4. No I'm not French, but almost. I'm from a little country just above France, and there we speak French and Dutch. And Hannah if you need any help with your French , just tell me, I have really a lot time this year, and it won't be a problem.
